The Maison Favart, luxury boutique hotel in Paris, opposite the Opéra Comique
The Maison Favart is a luxury boutique hotel in Paris, opposite the Opéra Comique, near to the Boulevard Haussmann, the Place Vendôme, the Madeleine and the Palais Royal.
The author and librettist Charles-Simon Favart built this private house in 1745, as he was passionately in love with the actress and dancer Justine.
Today you can still feel the romanticism in the architecture, which has been respected and preserved, and in the interiors, with a more liberal approach to 18th century designs.
For example carmine red contrasts with pink, grass green with translucent elements, indigo with beige, as a subtile and unpredictable mix of colours, to be admired like a painting
The Maison Favart is an original, ultra-refined yet welcoming destination: like an inspired love letter, it surprises, charms and casts a spell over its guests.
