L’Artémise is a story about stonework and art. A passion for the force and authenticity of stone, and a love of contemporary art and its unconventional take on daily life. Everywhere you turn in the tower and the mas (traditional Provencal house), you see paintings, sculptures and visual installations, including photos by Olaf Breuning, David Lachapelle, Susan Derges, Gregory Crewdson, Erwin Olaf, Denis Rouvre, Shirin Neshat, and David Hockney. In the main staircase, an amazing performance by Georges Rousse. To fully appreciate it, take a look from the landing midway; photos of the creation of the work are displayed in one of the suites.
The spa’s intimate ambiance is underscored by old stonework and contemporary furniture; this is the place for relaxation and confidential conversations. The restaurant serves elegant, organic food, and your hosts receive guests with warmth and discretion.
