Hôtel Burgevin—a charming hotel in the Loire Valley, half-hour from Orléans
Hôtel Burgevin is a charming hotel in the Loire Valley, 1/2h from Orléans near the Château de Sully, and 1h 1/2 from the Château de Chambord the Château de Cheverny.
The hotel’s history starts in 1898, when Émile Burgevin, a Parisian hotel manager, acquired the building, which at the time was a postal relay. The hotel was then listed in the first edition of the Michelin Guide in 1900. Today, his great-granddaughter manages this family enterprise, which had a complete renovation in 2011.
While the hotel has kept the plain façade of the postal relay, the interior décor is both classic and contemporary—like the town of Sully-sur-Loire—in soft, harmonious colors. The spacious, comfortable rooms are ideal for a tranquil and restorative vacation.
Hôtel Burgevin, a hotel filled with history and tradition where you’ll find a warm welcome—for a harmonious stay in the Loire Valley.
