The ambiance is authentic: a mountain chalet with schist shingles, stone walls, and wood paneling, which brings warmth in terms of both color and temperature. Regarding the interior décor, the hostess wanted her clients to feel as comfortable as if they were in their own home, and created an intimate family ambiance. Framed photos and souvenirs of Madame Meilleur’s family, warm-hues on the beds to complement the wood on the walls, treasures unearthed in flea-markets and antiques fairs all over France—each room has its own personality.
