One day, at the bend in the road, Karine and David discovered the place and decided to open their own bed-and-breakfast there: love-at-first-sight for this Charentais farm, in a serene and tranquil environment, which was lying dormant, waiting for them. Karine is designer and took charge of the renovation of the house, respectful of its historical architecture.
The stone walls of the lounge are covered with white coating, and contemporary furniture add pops of colour grey, light-beige and rose. A special care has been given to the comfort of the rooms, veru tastefully decorated.
The materials are eco-labelled and renovations have been made by local creative craftsmen. The Carré 1705, singular and welcoming place, where the slow luxe is a lifestyle.
