An unusual edifice built 1880 that originally functioned as a pumping station for the town’s water supply, the hotel has preserved its 19th century façade with its arched windows, framed in white and Basque red. For the guestrooms, three small buildings have been added each with a separate entrance, to preserve privacy. This ultra-romantic hideaway has been impeccably renovated and transformed and then enhanced by an English-style décor: pure lines, and subtle, natural colors like gray-blue or lake green.
The restaurant has a chic bistro ambiance; the sitting room is more flamboyant complete with books of 19th century erotica that you can admire while sitting in one of the plush Chesterfield armchairs.
