La Grée des Landes is about elegant, contemporary architecture that respects the environment, surrounded by pristine nature. This groundbreaking establishment is the first “eco-hotel” in France, which features a roof covered in grass, natural paints, organic mattresses, and fair-trade linens. La Grée des Landes looks straight into the 21st century, where impeccable service and comfort harmonizes perfectly with sustainable construction and an environmentally responsible style of life.
The interiors are decorated in natural colors, shades of ocre, earth, mineral, and vegetable. The linen fabrics, flooring, and paneling are solvent-free, and the wood used comes from sustainably-managed forests.
Facing southwest, the rooms are lit with sun pipes and have private terraces that open onto the eco-hotel’s grounds and a breathtaking view of the Aff Valley. At the dining table, organic products predominate, as well as local products and herbs from the Yves Rocher Botanical Garden.
