The 13th annual Nuits du Sud de Vence Festival-which will run from July 8 to August 7, 2010 has announced a fantastic line up of international artists.
The eclectic program offers an astonishing diversity of music, assuring that the 13th Nuits du Sud de Vence festival will light up the summer of 2010.

Thursday, July 8: Suzanne Vega (United States, folk and jazz), Youssou N’Dour (Senegal, pop world music, reggae revisited)
Friday, July 9: Natacha Atlas (England/Egypt, musical mix using traditional melodies, electro, and drum’n’bass), Omar Pene (Senegal, mbalakh, African percussion, accordion, and political lyrics)
Friday, July 16: Mickey 3D (English-language, pop music and electronic rock, poetic lyrics), Le Peuple de l’Herbe (France (Lyon), electro mix, rock, hip-hop, and reggae, robot voices and sound experiments). Special party for teens.
Saturday, July 17: Los Angeles Crenshaw Gospel Choir (Iris Stevenson, gospel, jazz, blues, spirituals sung a cappella), Ben l’Oncle Soul (France (Tours), revisited 50s pop and soul)
Thursday, July 22: Shibuza Sharazu Orchestra (Japan, theatrical Japanese pop incorporating Buto dance, painting, and Noh theater), Toots and the Maytals (Jamaica, Jamaican reggae mixed with ska, soul, and rock)
Friday, July 23: Bibi Tanga and the Selenites (Central Africa, a mix of soul, blues, and funk incorporating tap dance and African rhythms), Admiral T (France (Guadaloupe), reggae dance-hall music sung in Creole)
Saturday, July 24: Johnny Clegg (South Africa, Zulu percussion and English rock), Calle 13 (Puerto Rico, Puerto Rican reggae, hip-hop, salsa)
Thursday, July 29: Layori (Niger, jazz), Axelle Red (Belgium, soul, rhythm and blues)
Friday, July 30: Chico Trujillo (Chili, Chilean music, cumbia, and bolero, mixed with ska), Rokia Traore (Mali, African sounds mixed with blues and western music)
Thursday, August 5: Baaba Maal (Senegal, African sounds mixed with modern western music), Luz Casal (Spain, a mix of rock, rumba, and bolero)
Friday, August 6: Asere (Cuba, contemporary music inspired by 70s salsa), George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic (United States, funk)
