Ultra-creative eco-friendly fashion in Bolzano
They are three, want to change the world, do something that they really enjoy to do and which allow them to earn a living: Re-bello was born.
The Autonomous Province of Bolzano, located in the north of Italy, is strongly concerned by the preservation of the environment. The funders originate from the region: after finishing their studies, they have been employed for a number of years in Europe before deciding to return to Bolzano. They are not 30, love fashion and pursue excellence.
The initial idea was the blue jacket made of recycled plastic bottles. Then they discovered that a kind of wool produced in the South Tirol was burned, because it was too thick and greasy to be spinned: they sought ways to make it usable. Their research focused on materials are exclusively through mecanical operations, without chemistry, by squeeze moulding or heating process, by using organic wool or tanning the leather with olive stones.
The collection was designed by Ivana Omazic, who has worked for Vivienne Westwood, Prada, Miu Miu and Céline. Bolzano, the place where creative fashion meets ecological conscience.
