Solid travel soft perfume
Solid travel perfume made by La Maison du Soft Perfume in Paris. I was looking long ago for a travel perfume and had no idea about what was a soft perfume.
Isabelle Masson-Mandonnaud visited la Grande Galerie de l'Evolution (Natural History Museum) in Paris: architecture and gardens, fauna, flora, humanity inspired her to create her so unique blue perfume house, blue being the colour of the sky. She welcomes me in her shop.
"A soft perfume, it is water, oil and at least 10% of fragrances. No alcohol, no paraben, no paraffin and no surfactants. The skin in preserved. A soft perfume is a skin care perfume. The basis of the perfume stick is a vegetable wax, beeswax free. Then, other ingredients are added, for their property: shee butter, for a nourishing stick, tiare flower for hydration, mango butter and Tamanu oil for their antioxidant and anti-aging properties."
"I have always been interested in solid perfume: perfume comes from the word "per fume" which means "by smoke". Perfumes were originally solid. They were burnt to cleanse a house, to accompany the deceased into the afterlife and for spirituality. The idea of a skin care perfume came to me naturally: for the liquid fragrances, I have chosen mysterious black bottles, for the solid perfume sticks, artistic packagings have been made, because my dream is that every woman carries a soft perfume stick with her in a bag."
