The E-Mehari Styled by Courrèges in a limited edition
Courrèges invented the mini-skirt, recommended the wearing of trousers to women since the 70s and promoted clothes made from vinyl. It is not surprising that the brand expresses its creative originality through a trendy partnership with Citroën, to redesign the iconic Mehari in a limited edition, made in France.
A black car with tinted windows, ideal to interview VIPs, is parked in front of the boutique located rue François 1er in Paris, a red carpet welcomes the happy few and everybody waits calmly. Indoors, the DJ Inès Melia, wearing black low boots and skirt in varnished imitation leather, a white T-shirt and a claret-red beret creates a cosy lounge ambiance. Full-length mirrors and garments compose a reproduced black and white decor. On one side, bottles of perfume are disposed on a console, so that the guests can smell the fragrances, between two glasses of Champagne.
The E-Mehari Styled by Courrèges is parked indoors and everyone gets behind the wheel to take a selfie. After the screening of the video that presents the car, one can recognize the young black model of the video amongst the guests. Versatile urban sedan, with or without hard top, the car is a sustainable fashion object, with a bodywork in Vinyl Black and the car interior in a luminous white. A black Courrèges bag, matching the car, will be offered to each future happy owner.
