Ludovica creates jewels, listening to music
Ludovica Andrina studied History of art in Turin, in Italy. At first, she was buyer of fashion collections, and she quickly took an interest in jewels.
"I have always loved large rings, that is why I decided to create jewels, to accomplish my dreams. Iconic women like Grace Kelly or Elisabeth Taylor inspire me, and my style is also influenced by the music that I like to listen to: Madonna, David Bowie, Nirvana, Dire Straits or Oasis. I feel that, over time, this music has shaped my creativity."
"I also take inspiration from the nature and its textures. I prefer to trust my gut feeling instead of following short-lived fashion trends, I can get idea from the every day life, and begin to work immediately. All my jewels can be sur-mesure, adapted with different gems and materials to meet the wishes of the customer. I do not like the idea of wearing many jewels, one or two refined pieces is enough."
